MGT335 Event Security Planning for Rural Communities
Course Description:
This 16-hour, classroom-based course from the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RCDP) is designed to provide planning and management-level skills to public and private sector event security planners who have a lead or supporting responsibility for event security planning. The audience for this course includes local and state law enforcement personnel who are often assigned responsibility for coordinating security for planned events, as well as other planners representing emergency management, emergency medical service (EMS), fire service, and public health. Participants will be provided with the essential skills and knowledge to understand the importance of and the need for planning and managing security for special events, and to identify guiding principles and components associated with event security. MGT315 Conducting Risk Assessments for Critical Community Assets
Course Description:
Do you fully understand the risk to your facility and know what makes your facility susceptible to risk? Are you prepared to mitigate those risks? The Conducting Risk Assessments to Critical Community Assets course teaches the critical components of risk management and provides participants the basic fundamentals of determining and mitigating risks associated with their critical infrastructure. Through a combination of lecture, facilitated discussion, and group activities, participants will learn how threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences determine risk and are given an opportunity to practice the fundamentals of conducting vulnerability assessments by conducting an on-site site-specific risk assessment of select local facilities. Additionally, they will identify potential mitigation measures associated with their findings and work together to develop and present a risk assessment report. Individuals completing this course in combination with AWR213, MGT310, MGT414, and MGT452 are awarded the TEEX Infrastructure Protection Certificate.

Your FEMA SID uniquely identifies you throughout the FEMA organization and all of its agencies. It serves as your personal identification number and combines all of your FEMA training records under one account to simplify tracking of all your FEMA training accomplishments.

EMAI Pre-Conference Training
This year, the Emergency Management Alliance of Indiana will be hosting 2 pre-conference training courses. The courses are Hazardous Weather and Flooding Preparedness (G271) and Hazardous Materials Awareness (HMA).
It is NOT required that you attend or pay for the conference to attend these courses.

Course Description
This course provides training for local and state emergency managers who respond to hazardous weather events, while promoting partnership and coordination between the National Weather Service (NWS) and emergency managers. The goal of this course is to enhance emergency managers? ability to recognize potentially hazardous weather and flooding situations so they are equipped to plan appropriately and to coordinate effective responses.
Selection Criteria: The audience for the course will encompass primarily the following professional groups:
• Local emergency managers (i.e., county, city, parish, or other jurisdiction)
• State emergency management personnel
• Voluntary agency representatives
• Private sector emergency managers

Course Description
This course will give the students the knowledge to identify, isolate, and deny entry to an incident involving hazardous materials using reference materials such as the US Department of Transportation Emergency Response Guidebook (US DOT ERG)

Bring amateur radio/auxiliary communication into statewide response and recovery efforts
This event is intended for Communication Unit (COMU) and Auxiliary Communication (AUXC) personnel. Bring your team and equipment - all communication platforms will be tested.
ALL individuals who intend to participate or observe must register! For example, each Communication/CMD vehicle will include a Driver along with respective Communication Unit (COMU) members.
